The idea is that we would have a persistent store saved elsewhere and we would only need to spin up deployments of airflow when we needed it.
If you’re looking to use Astronomer Cloud, we take care of the backend for you. You cannot supply your own. As a SaaS product and managed service, Astronomer Cloud comes with an Astronomer managed underlying database (Postgres) for each of your deployments, each entirely isolated from one another.
